Network Scan (Tab)

Click on the 'Scan' button and LAN Speed Test will scan your local network (i.e. 192.168.1.1 - 192.168.1.254) and display the results in this window.  Click on a column header to sort by that column.  All columns are sortable.  

You can add/edit a note or change the name of any device by simply clicking directly in the cell and editing that entry.  

Windows defaults to save IP addresses for a short time even after the computer is removed from the network.  So, even when a computer is shut down or removed from the network, you might still see it listed in the Network Scan for a short time afterwards.  Usually the Mac Address is blank.  If you don't want to see these entries, simply check 'Active Only'.
